On top of everything else that 2020 has thrown at us I’m afraid to report more bad news. Our olive crop is about half of what we harvested the last two years. We did some much needed pruning in the back grove that will cost us in yield this year. Also olive crops are cyclical, every few years is an off year. How appropriate for 2020.


U-picks

The pandemic will impact how we do U-picks this season. Rather than opening up the grove for the  public on the weekend we will institute a reservation system. Once you visit our online store and purchase the olives you plan to pick you will then be contacted to reserve your U-pick time. 

We will initiate the U-picks to begin on Saturday, October 31st aka Halloween. You will be able to reserve your olive harvest time beginning October 15 at our online store.www.dosaguilasoil.com/store

Olio Nuovo sale

Everyone is asking about our 2020 Olio Nuovo which will be limited in availability to 60 gallons. You will be able to reserve gallons of this year’s liquid gold as of Halloween. When those are all sold we will start a waitlist to see how much oil we end up with and sell what we can. We hope to harvest at the end of November or early December. Olio Nuovo pick up at the grove will be in that same time frame.

Olive curing classes will be via Zoom. So please refer any friends you think may be interested.
